Solutions Architect, Lorena Lopes Santana, has recently celebrated three years with the ever-expanding Software development company BrainStorm. With over 12 years of experience in web and software development, Lorena has become known to the BrainStorm team as the queen of Tech.
“Lorena is a great asset to our team. She always has a solution to a problem, and her smiling persona is an absolute joy to be around,” explained BrainStorm Software General Manager Jo Clark.
The Brazilian-born tech addict has had an integral role in assisting companies in reaching their goals, taking them from their current states to their future visions.
“One example is that recently one of our clients had a backlog of invoices and struggled to get them sent out in time. I worked on a system to assist with Auto Invoicing, which I integrated into their ERP. Since the integration, they have increased their invoices from 800 to now sending 1200 per day from each location,” she said.
“The sky’s the limit with Software. I love creating custom-built systems to suit our clients, and I love watching them succeed,” she added.
Lorena is heavily involved in creating new standalone software that the company is about to release to the public.
“I love working with the BrainStorm Team, and the products that we are currently working on are so exciting, they are really going to help so many businesses out there.
We are just about to launch our first standalone software warehouse management solution, WaBI, that is ERP agnostic, meaning it can stand alone or plug into any ERP. With WaBI already implemented into a couple of Australian businesses and with them seeing the benefits our software is returning is really exciting. We are continuously developing and innovating new ways of doing with software and have a few more products in the pipeline to help manufacturing and distribution companies. It’s a really exciting time to be a part of BrainStorm,” She said.
She is not only a wiz on the computer but outside of work Lorena is a passionate Gardener, and her work is known throughout the Gardening community having been featured in magazines.
