The Victorian Government is offering grants of up to $5,000 to assist Victorian manufacturing businesses in adapting to a digital operating environment as part of the Digital Jobs for Manufacturing Program.
These courses, which are available at Monash College and Swinburne University of Technology are designed for senior managers and decision-makers in manufacturing, and aim to foster a strategic understanding of emerging technologies and their practical applications in a business context.
Launching in March 2024, the upcoming courses under the Digital Jobs for Manufacturing program seek to be instrumental in shaping the digital landscape for industry leaders.
The Digital Jobs for Manufacturing Program provides funding to enrol a nominated employee in a 12-week online, part-time industry endorsed digital skills course in one of the following streams:
- Additive manufacturing
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) / machine learning
- Computer aided design/manufacturing (CAD/CAM)
- Cloud computing
- Customer relationship management (CRM)
- Cybersecurity
- Data analytics
- Digital marketing
- Enterprise resource planning (ERP)
- IT operations and support
- Product management
- Programming / software development
- Project management (agile)
- Robotic process automation (RPA)
- User experience / User interface (UX/UI)
- Web development
