Our humble Australian company has made global waves this week (November 2021) with our lead consultant, Evelyn, training clients in the UK.
Evelyn conducted a week-long training program, adjusting her hours to instruct in the different time zone.
“The time zone difference was a big thing, trying to ensure I was taking more breaks as I needed to be more awake.
The training was pretty much the same as the software works the same, the only difference was some minor legislation changes, but the teaching, itself, was very similar.”
She learned some valuable insights during her sessions.
“There were some interesting topics that I picked up from a global perspective. I was learning a lot about the new issues that Brexit (UK exiting the EU) has been causing, first hand, which was interesting, especially about how they import things now and how all of that is changing with the new rules and ever-changing environment.”
Evelyn enjoyed stepping outside of her Australian day-to-day training. “I think one of my favourite things was their accents,” she said with a grin, “but it’s nice to be able to train with people all over the globe and I look forward to doing it again soon.”
