Through Round 2 of their Manufacturing Growth Grant Program, the Victorian Government is giving businesses the opportunity for support to expand their manufacturing operations by providing funding for new manufacturing technologies and equipment, and Software Solutions experts BrainStorm have pledged their support.
The application asks for a project proposal to demonstrate how businesses will increase productivity through investment in new technologies and processes. This is where BrainStorm can help, they give scaling businesses an unfair advantage over their competition, their solutions fit perfectly, resolve the headaches of disconnected systems, to maximise efficiency, increase revenue, decrease cost and ultimately make their customers more money.
The Government is giving out competitive Grants between $50k and $250k. Every $1 granted must be matched with a cash contribution from the business of $2. For example a $50k grant must be matched by $100k from the business, for a total project spend of $150k. This is a competitive process with limited funding available for Victorian Manufacturing Businesses.
Job creation, upskilling, and reskilling are also key factors in the growth program, along with supporting Victoria’s transition to net zero emissions. BrainStorm offers training to all staff once the project has been implemented, which will assist with the upskilling of staff criteria.
There are many key dates to consider, all applications must be submitted online by 5pm on the 19th December and outcomes are expected to be advised in April 2024. Project activities will need to start within 30 days of the signed grant agreement, including at least 10% of project costs incurred within the first 30 days. Projects must be completed by 30 April 2025 (12 months) and note that no funding will be provided for activities started before the start date (agreed and signed grant agreement).
Just last year BrainStorm helped their customers make or save an estimated $100 + million dollars with their software solutions. There is only 6 weeks until applications are due (19th December), so be sure to contact BrainStorm as soon as possible on +61 3 5942 7774 or email@example.com.
